Making an Emergency Maintenance Call

Hi, I’m Angie and I’m Ryan with Boulder Property Management and we’re here today to talk to you about what Boulder Property Management considers an emergency maintenance call.

One of the top emergencies we get is gas smells, gas smells can come from a furnace, come from the gas fired stove. What we’d like you to do is immediately get out of the unit, leave the door wide open and call Boulder Property Management’s emergency line as soon as possible.

Another item we occasionally see is flooding. Flooding can come from various different areas. Your bathtub, your toilet, your kitchen sink. If you notice any water on the floor or coming through your ceiling, please call Boulder Property Management’s emergency line as soon as possible.

Another emergency that we handle quite a bit of are lockouts. Should you be locked out after-hours, please call Boulder Property Management’s maintenance and emergency line.

So those are the items that you should call for an emergency. Normal routine items, we certainly also want you calling for. Yes, please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns that you have.

Some of the items that are non-emergencies would be considered light bulbs out in your unit. Appliances not functioning correctly. Parking situations where maybe somebody parked in your spot overnight. Another one would be a garbage disposal not working. Those can all be handled during normal business hours, but we always highly encourage you to call us with any questions that you may have about any emergency or non-emergency maintenance items.
